Position Summary | The University at Buffalo is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Engagement Coordinator to join the Alumni Engagement team within the Division of University Advancement. Reporting to the Senior Director for Marketing and Operations, this role will provide essential support for engagement activities and programs designed to connect alumni, parents, friends, and community stakeholders with the university and each other. Key Responsibilities: • Provide logistical and operational support for in-person and virtual alumni engagement events, including event production, calendaring, data collection, and vendor coordination. • Assist with marketing efforts, including email campaigns, promotional materials, and social media content. • Process payments and registrations for alumni events and programs. • Support lifelong learning initiatives, volunteer opportunities, and alumni career services. • Maintain accurate records and analyze engagement data to enhance program effectiveness. • Deliver high-quality customer service, responding to inquiries from alumni and key stakeholders. • Collaborate with colleagues across the division to ensure smooth execution of engagement strategies. Minimum Qualifications | • Bachelor’s degree required. • Experience in one, or a combination, of the following areas (1) alumni engagement, (2) data entry, (3) event management, (4) higher education, or (5) relevant experience in a business/customer service setting. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision. • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a wide array of individuals on projects and programs. • Solid, general knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and data systems experience. • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed and requested. |

Salary Range | $46,000 - $48,000 |
