options for a flex-Friday schedule. What you will accomplish as a CNC
Operator at TAPCO: The CNC Operator programs sets up, and operates a
MultiCam Class 3000 CNC Router. This position is responsible for
maintaining a high-quality 5S and lean work area, maintaining all parts
related to the machine and work area, and monitoring inventory levels.
This position will also help in training and writing of work standards
for an efficient work environment. This position reports to the sign
shop supervisor. Position Responsibilities: Operates machine safely and
utilizes material to the fullest Processes CNC planning, cuts tool
selection, specifies feed and speed rates for aluminum, ferrous
materials, MDO & HDO wood and plastics Deburrs, files, or cleans off all
materials before delivering to the next process Maintains and monitors
inventory levels keeping a log of all parts, replacement of parts, and
maintenance of machine Performs daily checks of the machine, parts,
fluid levels, vacuum container bag levels, etc. Helps fix and
troubleshoot machine problems Helps within shop areas during downtimes
Sustains a 5S and lean work environment Helps in training employees and
writing work standards for machine area Performs other duties as
assigned Required Experience and Skills: High school diploma or
equivalent Three years of prior related experience Detail Oriented Good
math skills: adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing with or without
the use of a calculator. Strong communication skills and able to work
alone or in a team environment Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Microsoft
