Job Description

 
Anticipated period of employment: 04/01/2024 to 11/15/2024. Minimum of 3 months of verifiable experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Performs duties on a farm like: picking, weeding, washing, grading and packing in the employer owned packing house on the farm. Pruning, stringing, digging with shovels. Rolling & unrolling frost protectant fabric. Hoeing, planting on machine and by hand. Mowing grass and cleaning up debris around farm property. Taking out trash and maintaining cleanliness around farm yard and property. Scrubbing, mopping, sweeping and cleaning of packing house and packing line. Keeping records of duties in packing house for food safety. Crops: Asparagus, Green pepper, Squash, Sweet Potatoes, Tomato, Watermelon, cucumbers, pickles. ***See Form ETA 790/790A for a complete job description*** Only workers meeting all qualifications on the job order should be referred by the Job Service Office.
