Service Technician Helper Level I
Full Job Description
Performs routine general service calls and preventive maintenance on local and state government facilities. Acts as a helper/laborer when needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Graduate, GED, Trade or Vocational School education.

Job Title: Service Technician Level 1
Job Summary: As a Service Technician Level 1, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient functioning of equipment and systems. You will be responsible for performing basic installation, maintenance, and repair tasks under the supervision of senior technicians. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, conducting routine inspections, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

Installation: Assist in the installation of equipment and systems, following established procedures and guidelines.
Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance tasks and basic repairs on equipment and systems. Report any issues or abnormalities to senior technicians.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose technical problems and implement solutions to resolve issues promptly. Collaborate with senior technicians for complex problem-solving.
Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and ensure equipment is in compliance with safety standards.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service activities, including repairs, installations, and inspections. Provide detailed reports to senior technicians.
Customer Service: Interact with customers professionally and courteously. Address customer inquiries, explain technical issues, and provide assistance as needed.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members, including senior technicians and support staff, to achieve common goals and deliver high-quality service.
Training: Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and stay updated on industry advancements.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical certification or vocational training in a relevant field is preferred.
Basic understanding of technical concepts and equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
Comfortable working in various environmental conditions.

Work Schedule:
Hourly Rate $17 hour/ Full time
Monday - Friday
