Order#: NY1496493 Fitness Instructor How to apply: Submit application to Jay Verna, Fitness Coordinator jverna@websterny.gov Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years of age Must be available weekday mornings (9am-Noon) and afternoons (3-6pm). Ability to lift 50 lbs. The Town of Webster is now accepting applications for a group fitness instructor with experience leading a variety of class formats (cardio, strength, HIIT, bootcamp, etc.). Qualified candidates must be energetic, motivating and must be able to instruct and assess client mobility/technique restrictions and make appropriate modifications. Must be available weekday mornings (9am-Noon) and afternoons (3-6pm). Typical Duties, including but not limited to: Organize and instruct a variety of cardio, strength, and high intensity interval training classes and make necessary instructional modifications based on group participants. Responsible for set up, take down, and sanitizing of all equipment Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of 1-3 years instructing group based fitness classes. Responsible, reliable team player with great communication and customer service skills. Enthusiastic, motivational instructor with a focus on participant development and retention. Certification through a nationally recognized organization (NSCA, ACSM, NASM, ACE) Certified in first aid/CPR/AED
