POSITION: Coordinator and Parenting Educator
REQUIREMENTS: Associates degree preferred plus three to five years relevant
experience. Skills: Community outreach, leadership, supervision
experience, energetic, optimistic, self-motivated and organized. Skills
in writing and experience using computers, technology, and the Internet.
Passion for and understanding of child development, parenting education,
and early childhood education.
WAGE: $15.50/hour. Employer also reimburses for mileage at .625/mile
DAYS/HRS: 20 hours a week.
DESCRIPTION: Coordinator role will be responsible for the county program,
Advisory Committee etc. Parenting Educator position will deliver visits to
families. There are job descriptions for each position, but these will be
combined to form one position.
• Educate and inform other agencies, organizations, and public at
large about the programs of Baby Bear Hugs.
• Must support child immunizations, non-smoking and elimination of
second hand smoke policies.
• Must attend regional meetings/trainings in Yuma.
