Performs assessment, diagnostic testing, prescribed treatment and care of the respiratory therapy patient. Evaluates effectiveness of treatment and maintains department records.
Experience/Knowledge/Skills Required:
- Current MA Respiratory Therapist License; RRT strongly preferred
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Active AHA BLS Certification required
- NRP Certification and AHA ACLS preferred
- Must be able to draw arterial blood gases
- Experience working with EMR strongly preferred
