Genesis10 is seeking a UI/UX Designer for a contract with our client in Eden Prairie, MN. 100% Remote.
Job Description:
UX/UI Designer (User Experience and User Interface Designer) will be responsible for the design of interfaces and other digital properties. The UX/UI Designer will own the creative process, working within an Agile methodology and alongside developer and business analyst partners. This position will apply a high degree of creativity, design fundamentals and possess an impeccable eye for detail to the design process for Client Match
There will be some travel. Possible travel sites include: New Mexico, Southern California and the State of Hawai'i and Maryland.
Required Basic Qualifications:
5 years of experience in UX Design with an awesome portfolio
Expert with popular design tools like: Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Axure, and InVision
Proven skills to create information architecture, navigation maps, wireframes, and Lo/Hi-Fi prototypes along with design specifications
Skilled and well-read on design thinking practices like user research, focus group feedback, lightweight usability testing, rapid prototyping, etc.
Excellent skills with quick design reviews and recommendations, and able to quickly make concept sketches during stakeholder meetings
Good sense of composition, typography and visual balance
Good communicator with excellent negotiating and presentation skill
Desired skills:
Knowledge/familiarity with Journey Mapping
Experience with storytelling skills and exceptional communication
Journey Mapping experience
Job-to-be-Done Mapping experience
Branding and Marketing experience
Ethnographic Research experience
A fearless and positive attitude
Compensation:
Hourly W2 pay rate $55.00-$60.00
We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
