POSITION: Lead Lifeguard
DUTIES:Recognize and respond quickly and effectively in emergencies.
Enforce all aquatic facility policies, rules, and regulations.
Inspect the facility daily and reports any unsafe conditions or equipment to
the supervisor.
Lead staff through regular in-service training.
Scans aquatic complex and monitors patron actions for safety and appropriate
behavior.
Completes records and reports. Cleans and maintains restrooms.
Exercise regularly to maintain fitness level.
Be able to teach swim lessons.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Must have current American Red Cross Lifeguard
Training/First Aid, American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
Must pass pre-employment testing for lifeguarding skills and knowledge.
