Position Summary | The Manager of Student Life is a student centered, consummate professional who can deliver exceptional customer service to all MSM students. The Program Manager for Student Life is an integral part of the core team of the Office of Student Affairs. The Manager of Student Life will lead and manage Student Life operations and activities at MSM. The Manager provides guidance and support to the Student Government Association (SGA) and is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, implementing, and evaluating Student Life activities, including student interest groups, organizations, and the formation of new organizations. The PM for student life provides administrative support for MSM student activities and academic events such as Winter Formal, Faculty Appreciation Gala, Lampoons, Black History Month, Curtis L. Parker Research Symposium, summer research experiences, Careers in Medicine seminar, Convocation, Match Day, and Commencement. Position Accountabilities and Essential Functions:

Pre-Employment/Employment Requirements
All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of all pre-employment screenings.
Immunization Requirements | It is MSM’s Immunization policy that all Prospective Employees are encouraged to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment. If employment will commence during Flu Season, MSM requires all individuals to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless granted an exemption. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain an exemption from MSM will result in rescission of a candidate’s offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination. |
