Job Description

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Experience with Linux operating systems including CentOS

Experience with Server Operating System MS 2016

Knowledge of Power Shell and Basic commands

Knowledge of MS patching process using WSUS and SCCM

Knowledge of Active Directory

Knowledge of Group Policy creation and Maintenance

Required Skills & Experience

Insight Global is searching for 2 Windows Administrators for a large DoD client to sit in Aurora, CO. This candidate will be helping to create a new system that will be used as a shared service across current and future government programs.



Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform as Windows Systems Administrator for a large classified government SCI contract.

Implement operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network, software, and system engineers, PC desktop technicians, project managers, end users, and IT management.

Analyze internal or external customer requirements and provide equipment and software recommendations for solutions to problems by means of automated systems.

Recommend and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management.

Implement storage, backup and recovery services.

Create and maintain user and computer accounts and modify file permissions and security access lists.

Test new releases of products to ensure compatibility and minimize user impact.

Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed.

Interact, meet, discuss, and troubleshoot issues with internal support and IT management team.

Adhere to strict Information Systems security guidelines in all cases.

Maintain security audit and logging information on all classified networked and standalone computers as directed by the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM).

Prepare security documentation for input to Computer Security.

Report project status as required for all recurring and non-recurring efforts.

Contribute on Agile engagements, utilizing agile methodology.

Work under minimal direction and independently determine and develop approach to solutions.
