Wood County Hospital has a Vascular Sonographer position available. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing daily clinical operations of vascular studies; using ultrasound to visualize internal vascular structures, obtain measurements and visualize blood flow.
Job Details:
Demonstrates proficiency by performing routine and emergency vascular studies, including ultrasounds and peripheral vascular testing
Properly stores and operates equipment necessary to perform all required procedures and to obtain optimal diagnostic recordings. Maintains equipment in working order, making minor adjustments and repairs.
Performs routine cleaning, preventive maintenance, and reports any equipment malfunction to Director. Prepares preliminary reports for review and interpretation by vascular surgeon, including comparison of previous studies.

Shift:7:30 am - 5:00 pm
Minimum Education:
Graduate of a Vascular Sonography Program
Preferred Certification:
RDMS required within 1 year
Required Certification:
BLS certification required
Preferred Experience:
One to two years' experience in vascular studies preferred
