Caregivers/ Personal Care Assistants

Comprehensive Home Care is always on the lookout for talented caregivers. We are interested in people with credentials but we are especially interested in people with an abundance of caring and common sense. If you have a passion for working with older people and are comfortable working on your own, we would love to hear from you.

We work with vulnerable people in unsupervised environments, therefore, your reliability is a critical component of our relationship. Please be prepared to demonstrate a track record of reliably delivering results in whatever your current field of endeavor might be.

Our hiring process is simple but rigorous: you are asked to personally visit our office to complete an application or if you completed online, we will check that all pertinent questions were answered. At the same time, we usually schedule an interview with our Director of Services.

We will need to complete a Massachusetts criminal background check (CORI) and complete your reference checks before we can make a final hiring decision, however, we will give you a preliminary indication of your acceptability on the interview day.

Requirements:

Must possess and maintain in accordance with state law; PCA certification and all other applicable certifications.
Current driver's license and proper vehicle insurance coverage.
Skill to make decisions, solve problems and communicate with co-workers and supervisors.

Because we are here 24 hours per day, 7 days per week we must insist that you work one shift every other weekend.
