This role works for Abbott Core Lab in our Digital Health Solutions business. We’re empowering smarter medical and economic decision making to help transform the way people manage their health at all stages of life. Every day, more than 10 million tests are run on Abbott’s diagnostics instruments, providing lab results for millions of people.

Primary Function:

  • The Digital Health Solutions Consultant (DHSC) responsible for AlinIQ Customer Loyalty and Sales Tactics focusing on Value Realization; by working directly with the CoreLab Sales Organization (Enterprise and Customer Experience Team), enabling them to provide intelligent insights and collaboratively develop customized solutions utilizing our AlinIQ Portfolio to our clients.

Major Accountabilities

  • Responsible for advanced presentation of AlinIQ Solutions to clients, supporting Core Sales Team and/or DHSE and to validate client’s medical and technical needs, ensuring their expectation are meet, by proposing the best offer accordantly.
  • Ensures the maximum utilization of AlinIQ solutions and that its functionalities are totally understood and appreciated, so every client becomes a promoter
  • Maintains close relations and communication with existing clients, engaging them to improve daily workflows, continuously identifies newly formed needs, by connecting them to AlinIQ functionalities, creates additional sales though value expansion opportunities.
  • Support creation of SOW in pre-sales phase in partnership with Customer and CORE sales roles • Responsible in advanced and functional training of the customers for AlinIQ enablers, during laboratory day-to-day operations.
  • Increase customer satisfaction and NPS, accordingly create value expansion opportunities and communicate with core sales team,
  • Must deep dive on customer needs and answer by using AlinIQ enablers, with the aim to transform every customer into a AlinIQ reference site, creating a bridge between customer and marketing team.
  • With hyper-care minimize inadequate training associated errors and issues, thus reduce customer complaints and avoidable support workload on ITSS team.
  • Ensures that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in medical, life sciences, IT or medical technology is preferred • Fluent in English and in the Local language

Background

  • Understand IT technology within hospital and laboratory environment
  • Expertise in clinical laboratory workflows (sample workflow, order/result workflows, inventory workflow, quality, etc.)
  • Great understanding of Clinical Laboratory KPI’s. Expected to be part of design / monitoring / management / improvement of those KPI’s.
  • Strong understanding on how technology drives value in the broader healthcare and laboratory space.
  • IT functional expertise, IT product and industry knowledge in Healthcare and/or Laboratory Medicine preferred.
  • Willingness to challenge and improve the status-quo, with analytical skills, problems solving approach, with excellent consulting skills
  • Customer facing, open, excellent customer communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Willingness to work in cross-functional teams

Impact of position

  • Will manage 4 to 7 single tier accounts (50-100 hospital/Lab entities) consisting of multiple locations (up to 10) for a single large account or large complex accounts
  • Responsible for Customer retention and per annum incremental sales target.
  • Accountable for the AlinIQ professional services product line
