Responsibilities



The National Director, Prospect Development & Strategy will be responsible for the vigorous identification of major, principal, and transformational gift prospects and to create the infrastructure to support significantly more ambitious annual and comprehensive campaign goals. The National Director will be responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of the prospect identification process (including grateful patients and families, key influencers and connectors), research and analysis, and tracking. The National Director will play a key role in the major and principal gift fundraising process, and will provide thought leadership with respect to the comprehensive campaign, participating in strategic planning activities, and development of short and long-range goals and objectives.
Plan and lead prospect development and strategy activities directly related to major, principal and transformational gift fundraising to advance annual and comprehensive campaign goals





Qualifications



Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree, or related field or equivalent (Six years related work experience or Associates degree plus four years of related work experience)
Minimum of five (5) years of significant achievement in a broad-based development role in a complex matrixed organization, ideally with experience in prospect management in a healthcare setting
Strong organizational and managerial leadership skills
Highly developed writing and public speaking ability
Familiarity and general aptitude with CRM/relational databases
Experience using Microsoft Office programs
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree preferred
Health care fundraising experience
Knowledge of addiction and substance use disorders
