EMPLOYER: Optum Services, Inc.
JOB TITLE: Software Engineer
LOCATION: 11000 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)
DUTIES: Design, implement and maintain applications across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); Understand business initiatives including technical and non-technical requirements; Design and implement scalable solutions; Translate complex concepts in ways that can be understood by non-technical audiences; Create technical specifications, Code/Application documentations and processes; Engage with other teams and dev leads to build solution to meet business initiatives; Conduct code review to ensure delivery of high quality standards; Perform proper unit testing; Demo changes to QA as part of User Story handoff; Attend feature and user story grooming; Support production support team; and Participate actively during scrum. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.
