Description



Northwest Respiratory Services seeks a Biomedical Repair Technician. This person will be completing services and maintaining all respiratory equipment in accordance with all manufacturers' specifications. This is an entry level position and NRS will provide all training and tools to succeed as a Biomedical Repair Technician.

A Day in the Life:
Clean, test, diagnose problems, and repair all equipment in accordance with manufacturers specifications
Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment, warehouse facilities and equipment
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment to complete job duties
Report discovery of faulty operations, defective materials and any other unusual situations to proper supervision.
Follow proper infection control procedures in accordance with all applicable government agencies
Maintain necessary maintenance records and systems and assist in maintaining the preventative maintenance program to continue quality improvement programs and comply with JCAHO and company standards.
Assist Service Technicians and Respiratory Therapists with equipment and parts for their duties in the field, regarding preventative maintenance.
Qualifications

Electrical and/or Mechanical knowledge preferred
Ability to be punctual and dependable with a stable work history
Ability to read and interpret documents and instructions in a variety of formats
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
