Cryotech Deicing Technology, a division of General Atomics, is a leader in the development and manufacturing of deicing products for aircraft, runways, and other applications.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an IT Programmer Analyst to join our IT Support Group in Ft. Madison, Iowa. Candidate must live in the Ft. Madison area and commute to office several times a week.

Under careful supervision, this individual will be tasked with processes to design, develop, and implement various data entry programs and/or reports. The successful candidate will work with end users to determine specific requirements and functionality. Then analyze the requirements vs already existing business software to determine the best course of action to fulfill the user’s request. Relevant solutions could include a database change, a process change, and/or a custom screen or report. Finally, the successful candidate will design, write, test, and implement the solution using tools such C##, Visual Studio, HTML, SQL, GITHUB, GIT Repository, etc. Experience in Crystal Reports and PHP are preferred but not required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Systems Analysis and Design. Analyze user requests and translate into technical specifications.
  • Web Development (C## primarily). Create data entry screens, custom reports, and interfaces between various business systems and databases.
  • Database Analysis and Design. Create new database tables or update existing tables as needed.
  • Support, test and implement programs and reports. Provide Business Systems ERP support on as needed basis.
  • Report writing (Crystal reports, Sage Intelligence, and WEB.
  • Requires participation in an IT On Call support rotation of approximately one week per month from November through April.

Job Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or master’s Degree in a computer science, information systems or related discipline and with a Bachelor’s degree two or more years of progressive programmer analyst experience with programming languages and information technology environments. Equivalent professional experience in programming or program analysis may be substituted in lieu of education.
  • Must have a working knowledge of various web programming languages such as C#, C++, SQL, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, GITHUB, GIT Repository, Visual Studio, and HTML.
  • Knowledge of Crystal reports and/or Sage Intelligence reporting tools a strong plus.
  • Sage 300 ERP 2023 experience preferred, but not required.
  • General knowledge of common manufacturing/business operations processes as they relate to ERP preferred. (Items such as Bills of Materials, Ordering, Invoicing, Inventory, scrap, etc.)
  • Knowledge of PHP a plus but not required.
