Job Description

Trinity Manor is a licensed ICF-IID group home. We are looking for a mature, patient, & professional person with a caring and compassionate attitude to join our Direct Care Staff. (Retirees are encouraged to apply.)
"Sun. - Tue." shift begins at 7:15am Thurs & ends at 9:15am Sat morning.
(Overnight Thurs Night, Friday Night. 2 days on, 5 days off).
“Tue. – Thurs.” shift begins at 7:00am Tuesday & ends at 9:00am Thursday morning.

Guaranteed 40 hours + bonuses weekly. Overtime occasionally available.
On-duty staff will be provided a private bedroom, meals & snacks, Wi-Fi, access to fitness eq. & a personal TV with subscription services.

Job duties will include:

Assisting six adult individuals (with intellectual disabilities) in following a schedule that includes: self-help needs, grooming, cooking, cleaning, supervising self-administration of medications, companionship & daily living skills.
Documenting medications and writing observation notes.

Job requirements:

Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Valid driver's license to transport residents in company van.
Current CPR certification (training provided).
Pass background checks for criminal history and employee misconduct.
Successful completion of Module #2 "Trauma Informed Care for Individuals with IDD" (Free on-line training) is required on or before the first day of employment at all ICF-IID facilities in Texas. See: http://training.mhw-idd.uthscsa.edu/ Click on "Free Training" and complete Module 2.

Job Type: Full-Time (2 days on-5 days off)
Pay: $20,800 - $22,000 annually + Bonuses and PTO. $10 hr + Bonus
COVID-19 considerations: All staff & residents must diligently follow infection control protocols as set forth in our Covid-19 policy in addition to following guidance recommended by HHSC and the CDC. *COVID-19 Vaccination is preferred.
