Job Description: Magnetech Industrial Services in Massillon, OH, is hiring a full-time Welder.
Job Summary:
Weld structural parts per print, customer specifications, and quality requirements
Responsibilities:
- Must be knowledgeable in MIG and TIG welding
- Blueprint reading and standards (supervisor will provide on the job training)
- Make fixtures as required to make job more efficient
- Weld in all directions
- Do fit ups
- Metal finishing as required
- Advise supervisor of NCMR on engineering type problems
- Assist others in the department as needed
- Must have excellent attendance
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and understand prints
- Able to understand weld symbols
- Must be able to pass certification test if required
- Ability to weld all types of metals: aluminum, steel and stainless
- Operate a forklift
- Operate a crane
- Operate spot welder and stud gun
Details: Full time. 1st Shift (7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.). 50+ hours/week. Sunday through Saturday. $18.00 to $24.00/hour (based on experience).
Qualifications: High school diploma / GED. Must have at least 2 years of experience. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
