Aerotek Shop Helper in Big Lake, Minnesota

Fabricator

$23 - $26 / hour

1st shift

Job Description:

We are seeking candidates who are versatile and adaptable, as they will be responsible for a variety of tasks within our shop. Currently, our shop consists of six team members, and we have an opening due to the retirement of one of our employees. The successful candidate will be involved in activities such as using a saw, cutting metal, assembling metal cabinets, reading blueprints, packaging, and deburring. Additionally, we have Haas CNC machines and a welding booth on-site, with a focus on working with aluminum.

Skills:

  • Proficiency with power tools

  • Experience in fabrication

  • Competence in saw operation

  • Familiarity with CNC machines

  • Ability to perform assembly tasks

  • Knowledge of deburring techniques

  • Welding skills (nice to have)

Qualifications:

  • Strong preference for candidates with experience operating fabrication equipment such as drill presses or running saws.

  • Proficiency in assembly tasks.

  • Nice to have experience in welding or operating CNC machines

Experience Level:

We would like a candidate with fabrication (sheet metal) experience but are open to entry level candidates
