Description
ARS is seeking a full-time furniture technician to provide support to our government customers at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The technician will be expected to assist in the delivery and reconfiguring of modular furniture within the NASIC facility. Additionally, would be responsible to complete service tickets generated by occupants of the facility.

Responsibilities include:


Assemble modular furniture, including Steelcase, Herman Miller, Haworth, Allsteel, Claridge, and many more
Clean and maintain warehouse, as well as furniture overstock and supply
Moving items and furniture around facility as directed
Skid and wrap unwanted items for proper disposal
Work independently to complete tasks within a professional office space
Check and respond to emails, correspondents, and phone calls regarding projects within the NASIC facility
Attend project team meetings
Complete time tracking sheets
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:


Minimum of 5 years working within the furniture installation industry
Must be a US citizen able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
Skilled in the use of power and hand tools
Knowledge of or familiarity with Steelcase, Haworth, Herman Miller, and Allsteel, highly desired
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
