ABOUT THE JOB

Responsibilities


Supervise manufacturing, inspections, logistics and maintenance in a regulated facility
Uphold Hawkins' standards of excellence through a continuous commitment of providing quality products and services to internal and external customers
Train, support, and supervise direct reports
Manages budget, inventory levels and variable expenses
Serve as Incident Commander
Comply with all applicable Federal, State, and Corporate environmental, safety and health regulations
Apply all product quality and safety standards, report any product safety incidents
Perform other miscellaneous related duties, as needed.

ABOUT YOU


Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing or technical field required
Minimum of 2 years in a production or supply chain (planning, purchasing, materials management, etc.) role required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Outlook required.
Demonstrated experience in problem solving, project management and communication
Minimum of 6 months of previous MRP or ERP experience preferred; prior JD Edwards experience strongly preferred.
Ability to work weekends and be on-call
Valid Driver's License in good standing
CDL or ability to obtain one is preferred.

Physical requirements:


Must be able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, reaching and pulling
Ability to climb and/or work at heights while using stairs and ladders
Ability to safety operate an industrial forklift when required
Ability to wear PPE and equipment such as safety shoes, face shields, safety glasses, safety goggles, hearing protection, gloves and hard hat, chemical suit and/or hair/beard net when required
Ability to work in hot, cold, dusty, and wet environmental working conditions
Willing to work around chemicals and industrial machinery
