This position will be part of our Analysis and Test group. The Analysis and Test group is comprised of several analysts, subject matter experts, test engineers, and test technicians that support the various test areas onsite. Some of these labs include an environmental test lab, an EMI/EMC lab, and wind tunnel testing labs. These labs support research and development and the qualification of all parts manufactured within the value streams onsite locally.

Responsibilities:

Day to day:

95% of what they will be doing is LabVIEW

Will be working on WindTunnel and working with hardware and create the software that is needed to operate the hardware

Will be running software tests

Creating the systems for the wind tunnels

Technician runs the software updates for the wind tunnels if something goes wrong they need the SW engineer to help get the software run again

Making them more automated & improvements

Qualifications:

Must Haves:

• Bachelor Degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience

• 4-5+ years of experience in LabVIEW with hands on testing

• Software/hardware software integration and troubleshooting

Plus Haves:

• Experience in aerospace and/or defense industry or Med. Device

• EMC/EMI lab test experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM))

• Excellent interpersonal skills and client focus.

• 3+ years of experience in LabVIEW.

• 5+ years professional engineering experience

• Experience in hardware/software integration and troubleshooting.
