Palmer College of Chiropractic is looking for a Clinic RT!
FUNCTION
The Clinic Radiologic Technologist (RT) is responsible for performing quality x-ray examinations, education of the chiropractic student in in x-ray positioning and patient management during radiographic examinations, general radiography and department duties.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Responsible to the assigned administrator and has a support responsibility to all other departments and college personnel as necessary.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform radiographic examinations.
- Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations.
- Train and assess students in patient radiographic examinations.
- Monitoring students and patients during examinations, ensuring safety, and following procedures.
- Daily evaluation of equipment function.
- Performing radiology administrative tasks.
- Disseminate radiology reports.
- Screening phone calls, processing mail, scheduling appointments, maintaining filing systems, ordering, and maintaining office supplies, and other related duties.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local safety and health regulations, maintenance of safe laboratory environment.
- Maintain compliance with college policies, procedures, and expectations.
