Required Skills:
Recent and extensive knowledge of Cisco Catalyst 9K series switches. Building switch from bare metal to most recent firmware, OS and configurations. Specific models we typically deploy are CAT 9300, 9300HX. 9500, and 9200 series.

Experience with Cisco DNA Center required. Experience with switch deployments utilizing Cisco DNA center preferred but not required.

Job Description:
Responsible for designing, testing, implementing, and supporting network infrastructure. Provide consultation and direct technical support in life cycle planning, problem management, integration, and network configuration.

-Supports and administers firewall environments in line with IT security policy.
-Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
-Reports network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and managing projects.
-Performs basic configuration of firewalls.
-Provides remote support of on-site engineers and end users/customers during installation.
-Provides remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation.
-Communicates with customers via email and phone for initial requirement capture.
-Undertakes data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments, using information from multiple sources.
-Secures network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access.
-Upgrades data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases.
-Configures routing and switching equipment.
-Configures hosted IP voice services.
-Performs capacity management and auditing of IP addressing and hosted devices within data centers.

Quals--
2-6 years of experience required

Project details – Project is intended to redesign and replace multiple campus and networks within the MSP campus. Project will initially be focused on campus facilities but may also entail working within the MSP airport to assist with similar effort.

Candidates MUST have:

Recent and extensive knowledge of Cisco Catalyst 9K series switches. Building switch from bare metal to most recent firmware, OS and configurations. Specific models we typically deploy are CAT 9300, 9300HX. 9500, and 9200 series.

Experience with Cisco DNA Center required. Experience with switch deployments utilizing Cisco DNA center preferred but not required.

Netbrain experience a plus but not required.

Experience with Cisco Wi-Fi systems a plus but not required. Specifically 9166AP and 9800 series controllers.

Experience with Meraki deployment and configurations a plus but not required.
