Nursing Assistant ( NA ) - Part Time - Evening Shift - 3p-11:30p- Telemetry Unit

Job Overview:

The Telemetry Unit is a 38-bed unit,This team-oriented unit provides a wide variety of Medical/Surgical and diagnostic services to a diverse cardiac population, congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, respiratory compromise and dysrhythmias.The nursing assistant is an integral part of the nursing team providing direct patient care activities under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency; Completion of a nursing fundamentals course in an accredited
• School of Nursing or Certified Nursing Assistant preferred; CPR within six months of date of employment as a nursing assistant,
• Ability to perform all competencies of the position is required for employment in the position.

Certifications and Licenses:

• BLS certification through American Heart Association

Scheduling Requirements:

• Evenings 3:00PM-11:30PM
• Mandatory Orientation
• Part time

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for daily nursing care, ADL'S and Restorative nursing
• Resident care includes grooming, toileting incontinent care, bathing, transferring, positioning, ambulation, feeding and documentation
