JPMorgan Chase Quant Analytics Senior Associate - Deposit 2.0 in Columbus, Ohio

As a Quantitative Analytics Senior Associate, you will be an integral part of the Data and Analytics Deposit 2.0 team dedicated to modernizing the bank's deposits platform through data-driven insights and analysis. Your role will involve partnering closely with product, design, tech, and business stakeholders to understand their problems, providing analytics support, and translating technical concepts into insights. Your book of work will involve areas such as customer journeys/behaviors, product health, voice of the customer, and many more areas that touches all aspects of the Consumer Bank. These insights will help inform the features, capabilities, and target state of the new deposits platform as well as helping define the success of Deposit 2.0.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and provide analytical support modernizing the bank's deposits infrastructure.

  • Utilize your expertise in SQL, Python, R, or similar tools to extract, analyze, and interpret complex data sets.

  • Translate technical concepts into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders enabling informed decision-making.

  • Develop compelling data visualizations and narratives to communicate findings and recommendations.

  • Manage stakeholder relationships, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with project objectives.

  • Apply agile development principles to adapt quickly to changing requirements and deliver value iteratively.

Required Qualification, capabilities and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in an analytical field (e.g., Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field) or equivalent quantitative job experience.

  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.

  • Experience using Python, R, or similar tools for statistical analysis and data manipulation.

  • Strong understanding of ETL processes and experience building data pipelines.

  • Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Familiarity with Cloud technologies such as Snowflake a plus.

  • Familiarity with Agile development principles and methodologies a plus.

  • Experience with deposit product analytics a plus.
