Aerotek Machine Operator in Geyserville, California
Job Description
The Machine Operators are responsible for performing all bottling lines' tasks in an efficient, safe, and effective manner under minimal direction from the Supervisor. Duties include working on various bottling stations, performing interim line lead responsibilities, assisting with miscellaneous sanitation tasks, following safety and quality control procedures, operating bottling line equipment, assisting in training less experienced employees, assisting with line set up, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting, and performing line change-overs and setups.
Hard Skills
Experience with changeovers and equipment set ups
Basic computer skills
Experience with GDE and SAP for printing PO's and conducting inventory
Understanding of food safety/GMP's
Ability to work in a predominantly Spanish speaking environment
Ability to read and write in English

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Geyserville, California.
Work Environment
The work environment involves a high percentage of time spent on the production floor exposed to varying levels of equipment noise and temperature fluctuation based on the seasons. The role requires a monthly rotating shift, with the AM Shift from 6:30-3pm and the PM Shift from 3-11:30pm. Overtime work is expected during the harvest season, with about 50 – 60 hours of work per week. There is very little heavy lifting involved, but occasional manual lifting or pallet moving may be required. Forklift certification is a plus.
