About the Unit/Department/Team
Massage therapy is provided as part of our Alternative Health department. Lakewood Health System offers our patients alternative health services such as massage therapy, therapeutic cupping and aroma therapy which can be done in addition to clinical services or separately. Our alternative health therapists work with our patients to determine their needs, weather that's relaxation, pain relief or healing.
Mission for Position
The Certified Massage Therapists provide personalized care by offering a wide variety of therapeutic services, helping empower health and wellbeing for our patients.
Position Summary
Daily operations:
Assist in patient scheduling and payment transactions.
Perform an intake questionnaire.
Document progress notes within the patient's electronic medical record.
Performance Expectations:
Demonstrate hands on technical competency.
Inform customers of the post massage care needs.
Promptly clean and prep room between appointments.
Follow established procedures and observe safety precautions.
Position Type
Part time, Monday through Friday, 10 hours per week with excellent growth opportunities.
