Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Sr. AR Specialist.
Your Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage risk associated with existing customers
Administers risk alerts to all appropriate parties including recommendations for actions
Review, update, and gain approval of credit lines in accordance with company policy
Compile, maintain, and distribute A/R reporting and metrics
Work with and develop effective working relationships with 3rd party collection
Assist manager with unforeseen circumstances
Assist A/R manager to lead the team in achieving operational excellence and drive continuous improvement of A/R system and processes.
You Must Have:
High school education (or equivalent) plus related experience, or a combination of college degree (associate or bachelor) plus related experience.
4-5 years' experience working in a corporate capacity with some or all aspects of A/R management, credit, collections, and cash application
Experience working with credit reporting services such as Dun & Bradstreet
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead and influence others
Knowledge or ability to learn bankruptcy law as it applies to A/R management and processes associated with claim filing on pre-petition claims and post-petition management
Knowledge or ability to learn collection techniques and strategies, and how to access information from public sources
Demonstrated capacity and desire to learn, lead and excel
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong computer skills, including MS Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.
Demonstrated understanding of accounting fundamentals
We Would Also Prefer:
Experience working in Oracle A/R or other ERP system
Current industry knowledge of credit techniques and strategies
