Position Summary Information
General Summary |
This position is open to current WSSC Water employees only. The Deputy General Manager (DGM) of Mission Support serves as a direct report to the General Manager. Under policy direction from the General Manager, the DGM plans, organizes, integrates, directs, manages, and evaluates the activities, operations, and services of the Mission Support Branch departments, or other departments as assigned. The role involves ensuring that all assigned operations and functions serve the needs of internal and external customers/ratepayers throughout the Commission’s service area while complying with applicable laws and regulations. The DGM of Mission Support is required to provide strategic planning, coordination, and oversight across multiple areas, including departments for Emergency Management, Health and Safety, Police and Homeland Security, Enterprise, Risk, and General Services (which includes Fleet and Facilities management). |
