Electronic Technician

Summary: The ability to troubleshoot and repair automotive electronic modules using multi-meter, schematics, oscilloscope, single generators, and test equipment. CET certification is a plus. Hours are M-F 8:30am-5:30pm
Responsibilities: Some soldering of SMT (Surface Mount Component) chip components may be required. The ability to document findings and report to manufacturers. Ensure proper data integrity by performing some clerical duties as they relate to repairs. Perform software updates. Diagnose and repair units in accordance with standard United Radio procedures.
Qualifications: HS Diploma or equivalent. Exceptional mechanical dexterity. A two-year degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent experience is preferred. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to co-workers.
Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. The actual salary will vary based on applicants experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
