Quality Assurance Technician We are a locally owned & rapidly expanding ISO 9001:2008 certified Multi-Spindle Screw Machine Shop. Drasgow produces precision turned parts from bar stock on Screw Machines and machines castings in our CNC area. Drasgow manufactures original equipment parts for the Automotive & Heavy Truck Industry as well as machining Agricultural & Industrial parts in our Tool & Die area. Job Type: Full-time Requirements: 1. Technical degree or 5 years previous experience preferred. 2. High School diploma with a math and computer background required. 3. Be able to act in a professional manner and dress appropriately. 4. Be capable of working with others and training them. 5. Being mentally capable of following instructions (wearing safety glasses on the shop floor). 6. Good flexibility and manual dexterity required. 7. Be capable of repetitively lifting heavy pans of parts using proper lifting techniques. 8. Must be capable of being at work on time, working your full shift and be willing to work overtime when required. Job Duties may include but not limited to: 1. Documentation of raw material used in manufacturing. 2. Documentation of part movements to shipping. 3. Complete and document daily quality audits of all machined parts. 4. Verify part movement to and from the Quarantine area. 5. Create yellow tags or monitor that operator yellow tags are filled out properly. 6. Create red tags and record them in the Quality log for any non-conforming materials. 7. Verify all part sorts and record the scrap counts on the piece count log. 8. Do a final skid inspection from each gondola and then sign the blanking skid tag. 9. Upon completion of the final skid inspection verify the part quantity and complete the proper paper work. 10. Create an invoice number and complete the shipping log. 11. Complete the Daily Production Report 12. Complete the Weekly Stock Inventory 13. Sort parts visually or with gages as required or when time permits. 14. Keep the office area and rest rooms neat, clean and orderly. 15. Do whatever is needed and perform any other duties that are required of you. 16. Strive towards our goal of continuous improvement in manufacturing at Drasgow Inc.
