Quality Control Inspector

Location: Cascade, IA

Hours: 2nd Shift - 3:30 pm - 12 am

Job Description:

Express Employment has partnered with a local company to search for a Quality Control Inspector. This role involves ensuring products meet quality standards by setting up testing equipment and performing tests on raw materials. You will also use measurement tools to ensure that finished products meet specifications. As a QC Inspector, you will work daily with operators both on the shop floor and in the quality control room.

Quality Control Inspector Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform quality control tests on raw materials and finished products
• Set up and calibrate testing equipment
• Use measurement tools to ensure product specifications are followed
• Report safety issues
• Document quality checks
• Train new and existing employees on the proper use of quality measuring devices

Quality Control Inspector Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Associate degree or QC experience preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
• Attention to detail
• Technical and computer skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
