Job Description:
Methodist Hospital is looking to hire a Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons, care givers, groups, and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to, Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel.
Ability to work in a fast-paced endoscopy department assisting with GI/Pulmonary procedures and recovery of patients. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and prioritize effectively is essential for success. Experience in the following areas is preferred: Endoscopy procedures, ACLS certification, IV insertion skills, and administration of moderate sedation. Critical care/emergency center experience is preferred.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
BSN/BAN in Nursing required.
Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License
BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
Graduate of a school of nursing
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
