Job Title: Accountant, West Babylon, NY
Job Duties: Prepare month-end closing journal entries in compliance with GAAP and the company’s policies and procedures; conduct accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations; prepare tax returns and quarterly/annual reporting schedules; prepare and maintain accurate and detailed accounting records, financial statements, and financial reports; report financial activities and audit findings to management; compile and record financial data to identify and correct potential errors; develop and implement accounting systems to record transactions; handle tax audits and assist external auditors.
Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business plus 6 months of experience as Accountant as Business Analyst Assistant.
Salary: $71,136-$73,000 per year
