| Job Description: |
Sezzle seeks Associate Engineering Director in Minneapolis, MN to Lead the software development for the checkout team including writing code and advising on architecture; Monitor and maintain data pertaining to the checkout service on a daily basis; Handle checkout application-related operational incidents; Coordinate with other teams on cross-team projects that involve checkouts; Work with the Product team to plan and execute software and project deliverables within Agile team processes; Prepare specifications and determine operational feasibility; Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code; Organize, document, and maintain software functionality; Provide support and consulting on software systems usage; Ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards; Lead interviews and hire new members for the team; Manage a team of engineers, by teaching best software development practices and coaching them on their career goals while holding them accountable to company expectations and goals. Telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. is permissible.
