The Senior Employee Experience Specialist will be responsible for providing developed knowledge and judgement to problem solve and address complex employee concerns and may provide coaching and counseling to employees. Under limited supervision, you will ensure a positive employee experience for the entire employee lifecycle and is responsible for providing employee-centric service-oriented support for the organization. You will provide support in all facets of HR, working with the Centers of Excellence (COE), supporting employee onboarding, offboarding, retention, employee relations, policy interpretation, and application.

Location: Hybrid- 3 days in our Plymouth, MN office
A Day in the Life:
Provide HR support to employees on complex HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and talent development, utilizing proper escalation when needed and ensuring consistent interpretation and application of established HR policies and practices throughout the Company
Apply human resource concepts and general policy explanations to provide practical, consistent, and pro-active support, direction, and advice to employees on complex HR issues
Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and reporting
Serve as the escalation point for employees; respond to inquiries or concerns regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs, pay, and other employee questions
Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to ensure issues are addressed and resolved promptly, including collaborating with HR Partners to incorporate employee insights into organizational strategies
Manage benefits and leave administration, including short-term disability, workers' compensation, ADA, FMLA and personal leave
Assist with new hire orientation and facilitates the integration of new employees into the company
Conduct training on HR programs and initiatives
Provide proactive, innovative, and business-focused HR solutions based on knowledge of the business, employees, and established objectives
Navigate confidential and complex employee relations issues, investigations, and consulting to mid-level management. Makes recommendations regarding discipline and termination and advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
Assist with employee engagement initiatives
Conduct exit interviews, monitor findings and presents findings to Employee Services Manager
Participate in or lead various HR projects as assigned while ensuring alignment with company goals and initiatives

What you will Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
5 years of experience working in HR
Broad HR functional knowledge with an understanding of employee HR-related needs
Understanding of human resources policies and procedures with a working knowledge of employment/labor laws and best practices
Ability to understand, interpret, and explain HR policies and procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS system
Working knowledge of employment/labor law and best practices
Experience working with multi-state employers
