We are currently hiring a Medical Unit Secretary based in Worcester MA. This team member provides clerical office support to the assigned department to support the daily operations of all assigned medical providers, allied professionals, case managers, and managers in the delivery of quality outpatient services to the patient of the Health Center.

Essential Functions:
Schedules patient appointments using Electronic Practice Management based on current scheduling processes.
Provides patient with a copy of the appointment reminder as well as a copy of the patient plan at the end of each visit.
Utilizes Recall list to support Practice Management by scheduling recall apt for assigned providers.
Checks out patients after completion of their visit and generates Patient Plan.
Answers incoming telephone calls within a timely manner and make every effort to ensure patient requests are resolved efficiently.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
One to two years of experience in a similar position, preferably within healthcare setting.
Bilingual in Spanish and English or English and Portuguese.
