position is responsible for pre-visit planning, standard rooming
responsibilities, assisting with procedures, discharge instructions and
carries out both administrative and clinical tasks as directed by a
medical provider. This position is instrumental in helping the patient
feel at ease while collaborating with the provider throughout the
patient\'s visit. What you will do \* Room patients, perform and
document vital signs and patient backgrounds. \* Coordinate provider
schedules and appointment, enter orders and prepare patient charts. \*

scope of licensure or certification. \* Prepare patients and assist
medical providers with in-office procedures and prepare and administer
medications/immunizations. \* Maintain exam rooms and equipment to be

supplies for each patient room. Education Qualifications \* Current
clinical experience as a Medical Assistant, or Graduation from an
accredited school of practical nursing Required Experience
Qualifications \* Minimum of 160 hours of direct patient care experience
as a LPN/MA/EMT obtained through professional MA/LPN/EMT work experience
or completion of student clinical rotations. Required \* Current
clinical experience as a Medical Assistant Preferred \* Current clinical
experience as a Licensed Practical Nuse Preferred \* Current experience
as an Emergency Medical Technician or Advanced Emergency Medical
Technician Preferred Skills and Abilities \* Knowledge of principles and
skills needed for practical nurse or medical assistant to provide
patient care \* Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to
administer patient care \* Knowledge of common safety hazards and
precautions to establish a safe work environment \* Fosters work and
patient relationships through excellent interpersonal skills and
behaviors. \* Ability to work under stressful or emergency situations
