Job Summary |
Job Summary The Medical Assistant provides assistive care to pediatric patients referred to the University Developmental Assessment Clinics (UDAC). The UDAC provide developmental assessments and diagnosis to children with or at risk for developmental concerns. We provide in-person clinic visits as well as telehealth visits for families. This position facilitates the efficient delivery of patient care, assists with care management, supports the professional role of the licensed staff, and provides support and assistance as directed by licensed staff in rendering basic healthcare to the patient. Assists with clerical functions as a multi-skilled auxiliary worker. Must be a self-starter and able to work, if required, some of the hours in your home. Minimum Qualifications | Required Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system. The eCredential is to be obtained within 30 days of hire. Preferred Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). |

Special Instructions Summary | Reliable transportation is required for travel to the UDAC clinics in Salt Lake City and Lehi. Reliable home internet and privacy to be able to complete work from home for days working from home. |
