Job Summary/Goals
The Meetings & Events Global Program Manager leads the outsourced contractors supporting the M&E Team. The program acts as a liaison between M&E Client Leadership, serving as a single voice for the enterprise with overall responsibility for resource support in alignment with key initiatives to the strategy and vision. The Global Program Manager creates and manages high performing teams to not only delight our clients but keeps employees engaged and thriving. The ideal candidate for this position is organized, resourceful, connected and resilient, with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for recruiting, staffing, performance management, budgeting and administrative support for outsourced contractors supporting the M&E Team.
Communicates well at an executive level, but also deeply knowledgeable in operational detail and able to engage tactically as required.
Manages escalatory matters quickly and effectively
Hires, attracts and retains a team of top talent employees; improves team performance through regular coaching and feedback; provides recognition
Oversees partnerships with internal stakeholders and 3rd party operational teams to drive program goals and key projects and initiatives.
Build relationships with key stakeholders to assess internal customer needs and develop M&E program capabilities in service delivery, operations, supplier management, and strategy.
Assist and communicate with Meetings & Events leadership in decision-making, program management and initiative implementation.
Drive proactive stakeholder management/change management initiatives that result in increased adoption of services and strategies.
Build a collaborative relationship with Meetings & Events leadership and workstreams to share and leverage best practices and drive innovation.
Ensures that quality processes and tools are incorporated into all daily activities to drive process efficiencies, standardization and optimization.
Investigates and resolves business partner issues/problems.

Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university
Experience in contract negotiations required
Experience in project management required
5+ years of management experience preferred
5+ years of corporate Meetings & Events industry experience preferred
Proven track record of leading high-performing teams
Previous account management experience
Proven ability to interact with C-Level management
Experience with MS Suite of products required
Experience delivering a program to support multiple functions, evaluating existing systems and processes in order to improve and grow them to support the business
Previous experience with international or virtual team members and direct reports
Strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in strategic business discussions that require the ability to form a strong point of view
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with other business, product and tech teams and ability to lead through influence
Innovative, hands-on, results-oriented mentality, great use of process improvements and ability to meet tight deadlines
Job Requirements
Ability to travel up to 30%
Requires irregular work hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
