Position Summary | The Department of Microbiology and Immunology is seeking a Research Technician I. Under close supervision of the Principal Investigator, conducts a variety of routine experiments following established procedures and protocols, which may include performing strain generation, strain phenotyping and downstream molecular and biochemical assays to include qRT-PCR, RIP, and ChIP. The Technician will also record test results, analyze data using basic statistics and existing bioinformatic pipelines as well participation in laboratory maintenance, inventory and safety/regulatory procedures.
