EMPLOYER: Optum Services, Inc.
JOB TITLE: Software Engineer
LOCATION: 11000 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)
DUTIES: Test and verify Optum software applications for the healthcare industry in an agile environment. Duties include: Use required technologies to support, maintain, and test software to support a variety of business needs; Create, execute and maintain test cases with strong attention to details; Provide exceptional analytical skills in bug diagnosis and bug(defect) reporting; Develop, execute and maintain automation test scripts; Manage user stories and project commitments in an agile framework to rapidly deliver value to customers; Work closely with development and business team and understand business requirements; Demonstrate excellent knowledge of software development lifecycle, QA test methodologies and tools; Responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the software product; Design and implement testing processes, conduct manual testing of the various aspects of the product such as identifying and documenting defects; Work closely with developers to address and investigate issues; and Contribute to the overall improvement of the development process. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.
