Controller Job Summary

The Controller will hold a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of accounting processes, and providing strategic insights to support organizational growth. This position requires a strong ability to build cross-functional relationships, streamline financial systems, and translate complex data into actionable strategies. The Controller will lead accounting and financial reporting functions, mentor and manage a team, and collaborate with senior leadership to guide decision-making and achieve long-term business objectives. This role is based in York, PA and work in office.

Responsibilities of the Controller will include:

• Accurately supervise general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and payroll activities.
• Develop and mentor a team, delegating daily departmental tasks.
• Provide timely, and accurate financial information to support business decision-making.
• Direct all general accounting functions, including the monthly general ledger and financial closing processes.
• Prepare and deliver internal management reporting.
• Play a leading role in the financial analysis and due diligence processes.
• Actively participate in strategic planning and execution, providing financial insights and recommendations to the executive team.
• Explore and recommend opportunities for process improvement.
• Lead ad hoc finance projects as necessary.

• 8+ years of progressive experience as a Controller in a multi-operational environment.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required, MBA or CPA is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in managing and mentoring teams.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and the ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
• Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
