Job Description

 
The Town of Southampton is looking for an individual to work full time preforming a variety of general office cleaning. Duties will include but not limited to emptying trash cans, cleaning bathrooms, dusting all surfaces, washing windows, ordering new cleaning supplies as needed, maintaining a thorough inventory, cleaning wood, linoleum, tile and other floors, shampooing rugs and carpets, changing air filters and cleaning vents, waxing floors, operating necessary equipment and tools such as vacuums, floor buffers and carpet cleaners, collecting and taking out trash and recycling, etc. A minimum of 1 year of experience cleaning a municipal or private building. Must be dependable and able to work independently. This position is an 8 hour shift working afternoons into evenings, Monday through Friday, 2pm - 10pm. $21.65/hour with full benefits.
