| Job Description: |
This temporary position is located at the Rosemount Research & Outreach Center (RROC) in Rosemount, MN.
RROC connects agricultural and food production research to growers and producers and provides a window into the University of Minnesota for urban and suburban citizens who depend on agriculture for their daily needs. Research at the center is dedicated to improving the productivity of Minnesota’s agriculture and natural resource industries while enhancing our natural environment and protecting our limited resources.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
1. Operate various types of mowers to cut grass in lawns, landscaped areas, and ditches
2. Operate weed whip around landscaped areas, buildings
3. Clear grounds of organic debris, trash
4. Identify equipment issues and perform basic equipment tasks like filling tires with air or filling the gas tank
5. Operate power drills
6. Other duties as assigned
