Centrally located off I-494 and adjacent to Centennial Lakes Business Park, Residence Inn Minneapolis Edina is attached to the Indoor Edinborough Park, which features an Olympic-sized pool and track. The hotel features interior corridors, 133 two-room suites with fully equipped kitchens, and complimentary breakfast daily.<br>

<b>JOB DESCRIPTION</b>

<br> <ul> <li>Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. </li> <li>Greet arriving guests/visitors; bid farewell to departing guests/visitors.</li> <li>Assist guests and visitors into and out of the hotel van, including loading/unloading luggage.</li> <li>Ensure that all driveways are kept clear; that vehicles are not parked or left standing in illegal spaces.</li> <li>Monitor all parking areas/levels; report any vehicle/safety hazards; unauthorized personnel or potential security problems to Manager.</li> <li>Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of all work areas; rectify any deficiencies.</li> <li>Identify and explain hotel facilities and features to guests while escorting them to the hotel.</li> <li>Relay accurate directions to guests on inquiries of transportation within the local area.</li> <li>Handle guest complaints by ensuring guest satisfaction.</li> <li>Monitor and maintain appearance of hotel van.</li> <li>Ensure confidentiality of hotel guests and security of guests' possessions.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <br> <strong>Responsibilities</strong> <br> <br> Hotel Van Drivers operate the hotel shuttle/van to transport guests safely and courteously to their desired location(s). <br> <br> <strong>Qualifications</strong> <br>
<ul> <li>Valid driver's license in the state of hotel's operations.</li> <li>Excellent driving record.</li> <li>Must be 21 years or older.</li> <li>Ability to provide legible communication and directions.</li> <li>Previous guest relations and/or training.</li> <li>Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding. </li> <li>High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.</li> <li>Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.</li> <li>Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.</li> </ul>
