Job Brief (Purpose):

As part of the Incentive Compensation Administration team in the Controllership organization, responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

Engaging actively with incentive compensation applications, data, and business processes, including the development, implementation, and on-going maintenance of calculations and reports supporting Key's incentive compensation plans
Assisting in the support of the NICE ICM application, including implementing critical improvements as needed and coordinating the integration of new data elements and calculations as required
Collaborating with Incentive Compensation Administration teammates, and the Lines of Business to ensure consistent delivery of accurate compensation to Key's employees

Essential Job Functions:

Partner with various stakeholders, including Lines of Business and Technology (both internal and external to Key), supporting data sourcing, ingestion, calculation, and outbound reporting for Key's incentive compensation plans, as well as the implementation of critical improvements to the current application
Translate stakeholder incentive plan features, requirements, and reporting needs to technical requirements and configure to deliver accurate incentive compensation outcomes
Perform data / process validations and provide client support throughout development, testing and delivery of application enhancements and plan enhancements
Conduct meetings or working sessions with stakeholders and collaborate to achieve their needs
Prioritize ongoing continuous improvement work efforts related to the current application, demonstrating the ability to participate simultaneously on multiple work efforts and high priority activities
Research complex data, process, and reporting issues and effectively summarize findings and recommendations for next steps
Work independently and as part of team to offer and implement solutions to achieve optimal business outcomes

Develop thorough understanding of Key's foundational financial systems, products, and businesses and apply this knowledge to incentive compensation outcomes
Perform impact analysis on new accounting and regulatory requirements as well as internal change requests to assess impact on new and existing data / reporting
Proactively work to continuously improve profitability processes and reporting

Required Qualifications/Competencies:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data & Analytics, or related field
5+ years of analytical experience in Finance, Business or Related Field
Strong financial and/or accounting acumen, including analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Experience dealing with complex and large data sets from multiple sources to support analytical and reporting processes
Passion for continuous improvement especially related to process, accuracy, and details
Interest, willingness, and ability to assimilate information quickly and succinctly
Action-oriented; takes initiative to challenge current processes and implement change
Organized, detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to think and work independently and creatively, with a natural inquisitiveness, with limited direction
Proven team player, willing to assist others as needed to ensure that group deadlines are met, and quality standards are achieved - ability to manage time and multiple tasks effectively
Ability to understand and interpret client requests/needs, and respond to questions with clear and effective answers
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish solid working relationships with multiple teams and individuals with varying levels of expertise including senior leaders
Proactive and effective communicator - strong verbal and written communication skills & willingness to express opinions and consult with others
Proficient in project management/proven ability to lead cross-functional team projects
Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills:

Experience working with other data querying, reporting, and analytical environments / tools (e.g., Tableau, Salesforce, Oracle OBIEE/OFSAA, SQL, Google Cloud Platform, IBM TM1, Essbase)
Knowledge of Key's foundational financial systems, data warehouses / marts, products, and businesses
Experience working with Workday Financials, specifically related to Workday Reporting and Prism
Experience working with NICE ICM, SAP Callidus, or other compensation applications
Power user within Excel

Key has implemented a role-based Mobile by Design approach to our employee workspaces, dedicating space to those whose roles require specific workspaces, while providing flexible options for roles which are less dependent on assigned workspaces and can be performed effectively in a mobile environment. As a result, this role may be mobile or home based, which means you may work either at a home office or in a Key facility to perform your job duties.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $55,000 to $83,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
